The Art of Brass. The Soul of Tradition.

At Rituals Harmony, we believe that some traditions are too precious to be forgotten.

Across India, generations of artisans have perfected the art of transforming brass into objects of devotion, celebration and everyday ritual. From beautifully crafted idols to traditional Puja Thalis, Diyas, Samais and other sacred essentials, these creations carry within them the skill, patience and cultural heritage of the hands that make them.

Our journey begins at the heart of this craftsmanship.

We carefully source our authentic brass collections from India’s renowned brass and metal craftsmanship regions, including Moradabad, Aligarh and the traditional artisan communities of South India. These regions have nurtured generations of skilled craftsmen whose knowledge and techniques have been passed down through families over decades.

Every piece is selected with a deep respect for craftsmanship, form, detailing and authenticity.

Description

Crafted by Hands. Inspired by Heritage.

A Rituals Harmony brass product is not simply an object.

It is the result of countless hours of craftsmanship — from shaping and casting to intricate detailing, finishing and polishing. Where appropriate, traditional handcrafting techniques are retained to preserve the character and individuality that make each piece unique.

We work to bring these timeless creations into contemporary homes without losing the essence of their origin.

From a traditional Puja Thali used during a family prayer to a beautifully crafted Diya illuminating a festive evening, from a Samai that becomes part of a sacred space to an intricately crafted deity idol that occupies a place of reverence — each creation has a purpose, a story and a connection to tradition.

Supporting the Hands Behind the Heritage

Behind every handcrafted piece is an artisan.

Rituals Harmony believes that preserving India’s heritage also means recognising and supporting the people who keep these traditions alive.

By sourcing directly from established craftsmanship clusters and artisan-led manufacturing communities, we seek to create a sustainable connection between India’s traditional craftsmen and the modern consumer.

Our endeavour is to help these skills remain relevant, valued and appreciated by generations to come.

Because when you bring home a handcrafted piece, you are not just bringing home an object.

You are bringing home a piece of India’s living heritage.

Bringing Timeless Traditions Closer

India’s traditions have always been deeply woven into everyday life — into prayer, festivals, celebrations, homes and moments of togetherness.

Yet, as lifestyles evolve, many traditional forms and practices are becoming increasingly distant from modern generations.

Rituals Harmony was created with a simple belief:

Tradition should not remain in the past. It should continue to live with us.

Our purpose is to make authentic Indian ritual products more accessible, thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented — allowing families, collectors, institutions and individuals to rediscover the timeless beauty of India’s traditions.

Whether it is a sacred idol, a traditional Puja Thali, a handcrafted Diya, a Samai or another ritual essential, we strive to bring every piece to you with respect for its heritage and pride in its craftsmanship.

Our Commitment to Purity & Authenticity

We believe authenticity begins with responsible sourcing.

Our brass collections are selected with attention to material quality, craftsmanship, finishing and traditional form. We work towards maintaining transparency in our product descriptions and avoid compromising the character of traditional craftsmanship merely to achieve mass-market uniformity.

Where a product is handcrafted, its subtle variations are part of its identity — a reminder that it has been shaped by human hands rather than produced as an anonymous object.

From India’s Artisan Clusters to Your Home

Our journey connects three important worlds:

The Artisan
Preserving generations of knowledge, skill and craftsmanship.

The Heritage
Protecting the traditions, symbols and rituals that form part of India’s cultural identity.

The Modern Home
Making these timeless creations accessible to today’s generation in a refined and contemporary way.

This is the harmony we seek to create.

Step 1: Receiving & Pre-Inspection

  • Receiving Verification: Verify challan, SKU, quantity, and weight upon arrival.
  • Initial Quality Check: Check for visible transit damages and assign GRN (Goods Receipt Note) number.
  • Finish Identification: Identify product finish (Raw Brass, Mirror Polish, Antique Finish, Lacquer Coated, Stone Embedded).
  • Defect Logging: Inspect for casting defects, breakage, cracks, loose parts, or heavy oxidation/tarnish.
  • Tagging & Records: Attach barcode tag, update inventory system, and capture multi-angle receiving photos.
  • Transfer: Safely transfer items in crates to the cleaning area.

Step 2: Cleaning Process

  • Dry Dusting: Remove loose surface dust using a soft nylon/horsehair brush or compressed air blower. Focus on intricate carvings.
  • Washing Criteria: Wash only if heavy dust, oil contamination, factory residue, or sticky surfaces are present.
  • Washing Procedure: Prepare solution with 5 L Distilled Water + 20–30 ml Mild pH-Neutral Detergent. Do NOT submerge large or lacquer-coated idols. Wipe gently using a dipped microfiber cloth.
  • Ultrasonic Cleaning: Suitable for small idols without loose parts or stone embeds (3–5 minutes at 40–50°C).
  • Rinsing: Rinse thoroughly with clean distilled water to eliminate all detergent residue.
  • Drying: Wipe dry with microfiber cloths immediately and allow 15–20 minutes air drying. Moisture must be 0% before polishing.
  • Degreasing: Apply IPA (99%) onto a microfiber cloth and wipe entire idol to remove oil/fingerprints. Allow 3–5 minutes drying.

Step 3: Polishing Process

  • Pre-Polish Inspection: Check for scratches, tarnish, and identify areas requiring extra attention.
  • Manual Polishing: Apply small quantity of brass polish onto microfiber cloth and rub gently in circular motions.
  • Machine Polishing: Use cotton buffing wheel at 800–1500 RPM with polishing compound. Avoid sharp edges, facial features, and stone areas. Max polishing time: 2–5 minutes.
  • Detail Polishing: Clean eyes, jewelry, lotus motifs, weapons, and small engravings using small rotary tools or cotton buds.
  • Final Shine & Buffing: Apply metal polish and buff gently with clean microfiber cloth until no polish residue remains.
  • Polish QC Check: Inspect under LED white light for an even, smooth, and glossy mirror finish.

Step 4: Protection Process

  • Wax Application: Apply an extremely thin, uniform coat of microcrystalline wax using a soft microfiber applicator.
  • Wax Buffing: Allow wax to haze for 5–10 minutes, then buff lightly with a clean cotton cloth until wax is completely invisible.
  • Anti-Tarnish Coating: Wrap in acid-free anti-tarnish (VCI) tissue paper and add silica gel pouches.
  • Protection QC: Verify uniform wax coating and confirm complete absence of fingerprints under white light.

Step 5: Packaging Process

  • Primary Wrap: Wrap item securely in anti-tarnish paper to prevent direct atmospheric contact.
  • Cushioning: Wrap with bubble wrap or foam sheet to protect fragile protruding parts.
  • Inner Box Packing: Place item in inner box with cushion support and silica gel pouch.
